Terms & Conditions

Health Conditions 

  • All participants of Solsbury Sings singing events, including Solsbury Community Choir, are assumed to be medically fit to undertake the demands of rehearsals and singing activities. 

  • If a participant has any doubts, these should be indicated to the Singing Leader prior to attending sessions. 


  • It's assumed that everyone who attends a Solsbury Sings event is happy to comply with the Covid-19 policy, in order to keep everyone in the group safe and well. 

  • No guarantee can be given about Covid-19 transmission. If anyone is at particular health risk from Covid-19, then please see our Covid-19 policy, and you are welcome to discuss the potential risks with the Singing Leader. 

Missed Sessions - Solsbury Community Choir

  • There may be weeks when you can’t attend, either because of other commitments or because you become unwell. We’re sorry but for practical reasons we can’t issue a refund for sessions where you can’t attend. We’ve priced the sessions so that hopefully the cost of having to miss a session or so over the course of the term shouldn’t be too onerous. 

If the Singing Leader has to Cancel a Session or Event

  • If for any reason a session or event has to be cancelled because the Singing Leader is unwell, anyone who has pre-booked will be notified with as much notice as possible.

  • Notification will be given using the email address provided at the time of booking. Notification will also be issued on Solsbury Sings social media channels (Instagram and Facebook).

  • In the case of any session or event cancelled by the Singing Leader, a refund or a credit note will be provided. 



  • Occasionally we may wish to take a photograph of Solsbury Sings singing events to use for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • We will always inform participants that we intend to take a photo beforehand, to give them the opportunity to opt out if they prefer. 

  • If a participant does not opt out at that point then it is agreed that photos may be taken and used by Solsbury Sings for its own marketing and promotional purposes only.



  • We collect personal information from you when you book online at 

  • We use this information to make your experience of attending singing events as easy and enjoyable as possible. We need it to process your order and to inform you of any delays or problems.

  • The information we collect when you place an order is:

    • Your name, so we know what to call you

    • Email address, so we can email you order confirmations and inform you of any changes to event details. 

    • Telephone number, which we’ll only call if we have to make any change to an event you are booked on to.

    • Payment Card and billing details, which we only ask for when you place an order. 

    • We also collect your name and email address when you sign up to our newsletter, which we use for the purpose of emailing you the newsletter. 

  • Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

  • Solsbury Sings is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our services to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

  • We'll take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we can't be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website. 


Data Protection

  • We'll never pass on your details on to a third party for marketing purposes.
